Pictures from Palestine

These paintings and sketches are the results from my trip to Bethlehem in December 2007. While joining other artists who traveled to this destination from many parts of the world, together we created an exhibition called Santa’s Ghetto in Manger Square. This small series of work is my considered response to my short trip behind the wall. These paintings are derived from photos and drawings whilst preparing for the exhibition and eating too many falafels. Many thanks to Paul Insect with this. More info on the exhibition can be found here at www.santasghetto.com
